I know its been awhile since I posted anything of substance on the forums, and I know a lot of people want me to make more aircraft models, but I'm very distractable, so you have to expect me to keep making whatever I want. Sorry. Anyway, I sometimes browse the 4chan.org /po/ section (papercraft and origami). I was asking about a papercraft warrior bug from Starship Troopers, not really expecting to get anything, but instead I got a 2.5-D gaming model designed by Jim Hartman. It wasn't quite what I wanted, but I decided to use it to create what I did want; a fully 3-D model of the arachnid warrior. This first build is rather small, it fits (barely) in my palm. I'm going to build another larger warrior soon (maybe start on it tonight), in scale with my Master Chief action figure. I'm thinking if I can put pipe cleaners in it I can actually make the joints move without a lot of hassle, and while making them stiff enough to hold a pose. Anyway, for those of you actually reading my post, I'm sure you're waiting for some pictures, here you go: Oh, btw, once I add proper credits to Jim Hartman, and one final piece, I'll post the template on my website for everyone to download.
