SR2 ship.
Glad you liked the original. The SR2 mesh I'm working from has some good detail and would scale up nicely. My plan is to design it with enough internal support that it can be made larger fairly easily and if there is enough interest I'll do it ib a larger size.
If anyone has else has a preference for a finished size now's the time to let me know. Right now I'm just going with (roughly) the same as the SR1 kit - about 18 inches finished length.
Hmmmm, hard to tell from that screen shot. Everything looks pretty straight. Good shot of what the engine glow looks like though.
Excellent! Thanks for that info. I do have access to a PC with a good recent graphics card - I upgraded it last year for another game (Burnout Paradise). I'll have to look into getting these as finances permit.
Stay tuned.

SJSquirrel, I'm glad to see you taking a shot at the SR2 model. I built your first one and it was excellent. F131's rendition looks great.

I'm really looking forward to this one. I may attempt to build it to scale with your SR1 model...though it is supposed to be close to twice the size in the game...

I think the front engine tips do move to steer the ship with mass effect fields. The rear engine bits move as well. Below is a screen I hope helps.

Speaking of the game, both ME1 and 2 are available on the PC (as long as you have a video card from the last couple of years) and are well worth playing.
