Love it! Thanks for sharing Gonna make a little great lakes diorama for it?
Thanks so very much for sharing those build photos, Jorg.
Just one question...how did you make those railings? They look superb!
If you could, I would love to find out how you managed to build such excellent railings.
They look lasercut to me if they arent then do tell!
I´m using photo etched parts from GPM. Take a look here: http://www.gpm.pl/eng/index.php?akcja=produkt&edycja=75
What do they provide in the set? They don't provide any photos of the set so I was curious what it includes. It's very rare to find a railing set in 1/400 scale, and there are only a few sources that I am aware of.
I´ve made a picture for you. The set has 3 different types of railing.
Thank you, Jorg (Korvette)!
I appreciate your taking the time to post a photo of it!
That looks like the railing I purchased a few years ago but I didn't realize it was a GPM product. Good stuff! I often make up my own using glued thread, but using photoetch is a lot easier, and comes out better.
***** ******!! Now that's a GREAT model!
Can you show another pic with a ruler, or even a pencil, so I can see the true magnitude of your job?
