Thanks for sharing your step-by-step photos. I have this same kit, and will be building it before long. You have done a superb job.
We got interested in the Fitz because my wife is from Minnesota, and a classmate of her older sister was a crewman on the Fitz when it went down. This is a nice model. Thanks for sharing.

I'll also give a hearty "Thanks!", as I remember her well. I was at the Soo Locks in Sault Ste. Marie in 1962 when she passed, bound for Superior. I thought it strange that she had the same name as the middle name of the President (JFK). I was just a kid at the time.
