Here's some update on the majestic. warp drives are almost done.
i also started the torpedo launcher mapping.
Next step is add a bit more detail to the drives

ohhh i wish i had yellow ink to print the galaxy is just sitting on my hard drive
 
Had to take a break, work is taking a lot of my time.
I'll send you what i have for the Miranda class, but only the warp drives have been done.
Anybody knows the scale of the Akira class? I want to have the galaxy match the scale of the sovereign and Akira

Hi wlock!
thats a problem! Zousho´s models do not have same scale! If I correctly measured and this side:

Gilso Fleet Charts:- Main Star Trek Fleet

take as reference, has the Souvereign a 1/1970 scale (approx.) and the Akira-class a 1/2150 scale (also approx.)! the Miranda has 1/1700 - like most other ships:mrgreen:

How's this project going? It really got off to a bang start, has there been any progress? I can't believe I missed so much of this thread. Guess I was caught up in my own thing... Doh!:mrgreen:
 
Wlock sent me the files and I printed the 'D' saucer off. I started to build it, but other builds have taken over, Mainly a shed in my garden is the current build. It's made from wood, so in a way it belongs on the forum.

I feel ya, I'm doing outside projects too. Planting trees, landscaping, working on the garage, working on the Galaxies.... The project list just grows. Good luck with your shed..

Sorry i didnt update this before, i'm still very busy lately.
the secondary hull is mapped and ready. here's some screenshots.

Warp drives are going well, but before i finish those i have to map the neck section.

Not sure when the Galaxy will be released.....

Looks great wlock, you're making progress. More so than I am. LOL Though this isn't my favorite ship, I am looking forward to seeing it done.:thumb:

I may have to start putting together a Trek Fleet!:mrgreen:

I did, actually, I downloaded it a few days ago. It looks like it has a great structure, but the texture isn't very high-res, the windows are blob shaped. I'm really hoping to get a model with very crisp detail.

If I didn't have a dozen things going on right now I'd get on that, maybe when I get caught up.:mrgreen:
