I ride my bikes through, around, and in Harley conventions. No one ever says a thing. Most Harley riders just want to ride. Most that I know have a "Rice Rocket" too. For those that don't like my bike, I invite them for a ride and watch pick up the mangled pieces of their bikes if they dear try and keep up with me. I own (purchased new) a 1983, GS750ES. I have a total of around 300,000 miles on motorcycles. For the most part, real bikers just ride, and I think any biker would appreciate that model and wish they had one model after the one of they own. The picture below is my bike, but I modified it with the fairing show on the same bike below it. I just found the lower fairing pieces which were never sold in the U.S.. Got them off of EBAY. 86 H.P. on a 460 lb. bike is a nice combination.

Nice Ninja!! That is a surgical, road slicing machine! Good to know there are other rick rocketeers here, even if by degrees of separation.
I have ridden Honda dirt bikes and a friends R1, I just never got bit by the bikes bug... and I know more than a few bikers that would shot you for showing up at one of their rallies on anything but a Harley.
Your bike is starting to take a cool, nice shape, man. You've been doing a great job so far, and I've got huge expectations for this models, although I think it'll be a fantastic victory for you.
