everything I make from Star Wars - paper or plastic - is also for my son - I just paint it myself. ;)
I have to say that when it comes to painting, my son is far better than I am. If he really wanted to, he could easily do it professionally.
With that being said, he wants me to build a simple paper/cardstock model and clear coat it, to see if he could paint it with airbrush and hand painting.

Unfortunately, my son has no hands and no patience for such handicrafts, which is a shame. He has nothing from me in this matter...

Working on the wing root and top engine assemblies.

I decided to make a few internal formers to help with support the wing panels.

The formers are placed where the engines and wing mount come in contact with the wings.

Both wing roots are assembled.

Here are conduits for the wing roots. I layered them to give more "definition".

The conduits are put in place on the wing roots.

Here are two "star" shaped pieces.

Since my son is going to be hanging this in his bedroom (from the ceiling), he asked that I not add the landing gear. However, I did attach the landing gear mounts.

Here are the landing gear mounts.

Yet another top model. I'm sure you're now looking forward to the next one - that's how I feel.
Thank you sir!

Very nice. I'm not a fan of this genre, but that is a good-looking ship. Who could resist that! :)

Thank you sir!
Actually, I am working on another project:
I'm also interested in the Battlestar models, I think I should have all the bows. There are so many different interesting objects that you have to choose what to build.
