Back in 2011 & 2012, I built this model twice (once for a friend and then again to conduct an evaluation of both the template and instruction).
The evaluation thread can be found here: https://www.zealot.com/threads/marauder-destroyer.171394/

Awhile back, my son and I were talking about WH40K (especially since he is a HUGE FAN of the game and has thousands of dollars invested in both figures and models). I asking him if there was a particular plane model that he would like me to build for him. He asked me for the Marauder Destroyer. So, I agreed (not remembering the troubles and issues that I had with the first two times that I had built this model).

I started with the tail weapon system.

Here are the parts for the "Gatling gun" system. Instead of rolling each barrel, I used paper shafts from the "Q"-Tip cotton swabs (and painted them gray with black tips).

*NOTE* You will have to (either) remove the top piece of the post in order to slide the post in the hole for the pintle mount (or wait to attach the top piece until after the post is in place.)

my youngest and i used to play 40k lol he loved #blood Angels.....until we had to start selling body parts to afford it :hammerhead: the build looks great so far!
Too right you ae. WH40K is a very expensive game/hobby. If you are interested in the paper/cardstock model templates, you can find them here:
@ARMORMAN will (periodically) upload the latest templates that are developed.
There are also FB groups devoted to paper WH40K as well.

oh my...that is looking brilliant.....i may have just discovered my next 'card kit build queue' lol
Just to let you know, there are quite a few problems with this template. I had to extract it from .PDF to .PNG, and make the necessary corrections (which is an ongoing process).
