Track weathering progress

    Well, thanks to all your moral support, I have tackled the first step in weathering my track. It looks so much better already!!!

    As per Fifer's suggestions, I will be running a line of grimy black down the center of the tracks, but for now, here's another shot of how it looks.

    Val,You doing a mighty fine job..Now after I get the bench work up and the track in place on layout extension you can paint the track...:rolleyes: :D

    Thanks again everyone. It really does make a huge difference to the look of things.

    Casey, all track is done with the same colour paint so I think the difference in look is due to different lighting and/or exposures.

    Very nice Val. What a difference it makes and as brakies says it does make the track look smaller. Looking forward to seeing some rolling stock on it to get the realistic feeling
