Thought I would post some pictures of me scenery progress. I have only been working on it for a few hours (but over a couple of weeks, don't have too much time), and I am kind of pleased with the result so far. I still need to add more color and highlight to the rock face, and a lot more practice carving, but all in all, I’m pleased.
I have tried both patching plaster over plaster and FixAll over plaster for the rockwork, and I think I like the patching plaster best, as it gives you a little more time before it sets.

I know it’s not a lot, and that there is a long way to go (and years of practice) before I’m at you guys level, but hey, it’s a start, and I enjoy it.
Time to go upstairs and pour some more plaster.
