Morning. Got new 4Runner. Want to put two coats of Finish First polish [polymer coating] on her today. Wife drove old car to work. Ran diesels yesterday. Repaired one dummy's smoke unit [I put smoke units in all my dummy units]. Connection problem. Chilly and windy. Suppose to be cold tonight [39]. Have a great weekend. I have to go to Wilmington NC for a In-laws wedding party thing [SIL's Sister]. Will get to see Grandson and take him his Lionel Thomas set. Hope my Lionel Big Boy is here [they told Miss Edna it would be this week]. Later

Got my Lionel Big Boy. Ran it. [] Looks great. Sounds great. Smokes great. One thing, at medium low speed the chuffs seems to make the whistle sound like it is "breaking up". Terry is going to check that out with his tomorrow at Miss Edna's. What a swing out. Got to run it on my inside mainline or do major track changes in back room. Up the street to vacant lot for outdoor showing of the Polar Express. Later

Morning all. Dr. John, no sure. A lot. Has no traction tires that I saw but then I think a set in the bag of accessories. Need to check that out. So big. I turned it over and applied oil like the instruction book indicated. Did the engine number programing thing and really did not look that closely. If it had traction tires, they blended in good. Shear weight would make it pull a lot. Instruction book has more about TMCCII operations than the info on the engine it self. TMCCII, not ready yet so you mail in a card and they will ship later.
Suppose to go to Wilmington to a pre-wedding party as SIL's and Youngest's. Get to take Thomas set to Grandson. WOW, spent a lot on trains this month.

Sunny and cool this AM. Wife's gone to Birmingham to help older daughter shop for a washer and dryer. Quiet in the house, right now except for dogs snoring on the couch.
