Here’s a little kit from when I was a teenager. But I still have this little plane 50 plus years later. It was a grocery store purchase, six kits for a buck. Still think it’s kinda cool...

Very nice for 50 years ago, even the mottling of the paint job is very good for brush paints.

Thank you! If I remember right, the mottling effect was done with a small piece of sponge dipped in the darker color, and gently dabbing it on. I still use that method with good results.

It is still very cool!! I remember those kits, and the Airfix Bi-planes that came in a flat clear plastic bag with a cardboard header showing what plane you were buying. You had to use pin heads of glue, or they would melt! Lots of fun.
