Hello everyone from Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain.

So delighted to take part in this community.

After many years fighting with plastic models without being able to dedicate the time I would like to, a couple of years ago I started in the world of paper models... and I realized that I cannot dedicate that time either... in two years I have only completed two models of which (some photos below...). I'm not particularly proud of them because I can see each and every one of their flaws... but I hope I will enhace my technique becoming a member of this forum.
As you can see I especially like spaceships from the 70s and 80s ;)

I wish I could start a new project soon.

See you arround mates!

Agur.

Hello and welcome to Zealot,

Please let me be the first one to welcome you to Zealot! I am glad to see that you joined the forum! You have come to the right place for all things model building as a whole, and to build and hone your skills. The members here are very helpful.

As for having the luxury of time, I wholeheartedly understand not being afforded such. However, always take advantage of the time that you do have and enjoy it to the fullest.

We have many members who are into SCI-FI (especially Star Wars and BSG). So, I hope that you feel at home here. Granted, there may be flaws in your models that you are not happy with. Sdaly, that is something that every builder faces. I see every little flaw in every model that I have ever made. With that being said, I have to say that after looking at the photos of your models, everything looks clear, clean and crisp. You have done a GREAT JOB on both of these project! I cannot see any flaws in any of the photos.

When you start a new project, I would like to invite you to post a build thread. Build threads are a great way of show off your work and skills. Not only that, but if you run into an issue with a model you can highlight the area that you are having problems with and we can offer you some suggestions on how to deal with them.

So, if you have any questions, comments, concerns, need help or advice. Please feel free to ask and we will do what we can to help you (or at least point you in the right direction).

Once again, welcome aboard. I hope that you enjoy yourself here and feel at home. I look forward to seeing your work.

Hello Agur,

welcome to the forum! :)

I think you have found the right place to be. As @Rhaven Blaack said, your models look GREAT! I have built the Snowspeeder myself and found some issues with the model itself. I developed an add-on kit to sort out these issues (you can read more about it here). There are several Viper kits here on the forum, one is a beginner-friendly revamped version of the Sirius Replica Viper, the other a faithful recreation of the filming model by me (advanced skills required). Larger versions of the latter are in the works but as you mentioned, time is the issue.

Just take a look around, choose a model you like and build it. Take all the time you need to master your skills, get inspired by the incredible creativity of our members and

Have fun and enjoy! :)

Thank you R-F,
I think I discovered this forum because of you... probably the Snowspeeder but I´m not sure... it was in a time far, far away... I hope to live up to you.
