"Detailed" Buck Rogers "QUAD" Thunder Fighter (1:50 scale)

It is time for another detailed thunder Fighter build. This time I am building the QUAD Thunder Fighter.

Here are the parts for the engine section (and supports for the lower wings.
I am layering certain panels to add a depth of detail.

This is a small update. Moving on to the fuselage parts.

I have attached the cockpit interior to the upper skin.
*NOTE* At this scale, be careful. The sides (where the cockpit tub attach) are thin and can easily tear.

Here is the second layer of the section.

Here are the parts for the middle section of the sponsons.
*NOTE* As you can see, parts 179, 180 183, and 184 are missing. I created parts for this section that replaces those parts. These are exhaust vents for the pulsar laser cannons.
The other (small) sheet of parts are intakes for the engines.

(Granted, the fitting issue was a BIG surprise because the files were not changed after release and we tested everything ad nauseum. I strongly believe it was a case of human error during printing because the regular parts come as PNG and the interior parts as PDF. We have now turned all pages into PDFs using Gimp to make sure that everything is printed at the proper size. At least this is what we hope for! :bulgeeye: )
Will your new all PDFs version be available to download some where?

No. Martin does not want his files to be shared elsewhere and we respect that. You may get the original files from his website www.paperaviation.de . You can produce a PDF yourself by loading the pages in Gimp and export them as PDF. Make sure that the correct resolution is set (202.997 dpi); this should be done automatically by Gimp when the pages are loaded but sometimes the program goofs up, so it is not too bad to check the settings before getting surprises. ;)

Much respect to Mr Sanger for his designs, I've still gotta get around to making another one of these.

Here is an update of the aft end.
As you can see, I have raised a few of the panels by printing the template on printer paper and applying them accordingly.
