Thank you, and we'll see if that becomes a realityTo that I say "You are good enough!"
Good tip, I'll be cutting off any spare cables from the neighbours electrical recycling under the cover of darknessUse Black wire for tubing, you can bend it to make it look like rubber. I like the "make it your" concept.. Go for it!
Nice tip, I still have some copper wire kicking around - found some fuse wire, an old ethernet cable, solder and a braided twist wire for hanging pictures, all I need now is to wonder what fuel to run it onI use thin solid copper wire to replicate hoses and such, Plastic modelers will use thin lead wire of varying thicknesses and it can still be found on Amazon
Thanks for your impressions and remarks, does help to make a decisionFor me the blue is to dark. The gunmetal with the rust is great. Nice job with the panels.
Cheers for the vote, personally I'd just ask the wife, saves on embarrassing question later when she finds them on your benchNo blue for me either. Otherwise it all looks GREAT! This is fun to watch.
Yes on the pigments. I need to sneak into my wife’s pastel stash and get a few pieces for pigments.
Duly noted, will have to look that one up, regarding the 'Jet Exhaust' Will probably go lighter rather than dark, you wont see anything really unless I make the top removable, but we'll see about that down the road...the long road.I agree, the blue is too dark, For a dark steel try "Jet Exhaust" The rusted panel looks great!
I use Vallejo Model Air acrylics, and thier Jet Exhaust is Metal Color 77713Duly noted, will have to look that one up, regarding the 'Jet Exhaust' Will probably go lighter rather than dark, you wont see anything really unless I make the top removable, but we'll see about that down the road...the long road.
cheers for your input

The end of the burner cans on this little Phantom are 'Jet Exhaust'. In thier Model Air line they have 'Oily Steel' which is close, but actually darker.
Muchas gracias, if I make it too dark no-one will see anything, perhaps that's a good thing! ...er then there's everyone on here who will see, bugger!I think it looks great!! Fantastic actually! What do I know? Colors don't scale, and sometimes darker is better, as relative to the size, light and it's affects, do scale.
Good to hear. I bloody hate mathematics!Yes the callculations of your colleaggue are correct.
