Recently I had seen the question; "Can you apply decals (the ones from plastic model kits) to paper/cardstock models?" The simple answer is "YES". However, there are things that you have to take into consideration. The fact that the decal will be wet (which could warp the parts). Here are a few options that I have thought of:

Option one: Pretreet the model with a clear coat spray paint or varithain (either before or after building). Then apply the decals as normal.

Option two: Scan the decal sheet into your computer. Print the decals on either printer paper or tracing paper, and then apply the "decal" with a thin layer of (pva) glue.

Option three: Scan the decal sheet into the computer. Using whatever editing software you prefer, scale the decals to the preferred size, and apply the decals to the template prior to printing.
