1/72 Macross Destroid Spartan

Hello everyone, after a long time without being able to model I started with this kit, I thought that the construction was going to be simple but apparently it is a quite old kit so all the joints had extra work, but the truth is that it looks very good.

I added some little plastic lines on the feet and legs and some rivets on the lights, now I can start working on the paint, I think it will be pretty battered.
I started with a green base of mr color 135, then some shadows with mr color 302 and finally some highlights with mr color 27. Then I will reinforce everything with oils and some washes. With the decals I did not put all of them, just the minimum necessary so that it does not look so overloaded, also to start and as a base for the weather I gave it a wash with green enamel with a little yellow, right now the fun begins.

Looks GREAT! I've built few BanDai kits, and the new ones are miles ahead of the old ones. But the old ones are still very fun.

Hello, I already started with the wear using mostly oils and pencil, when I finish the complete arm I will give it a layer of varnish and I will add a little rust and some more washing

Hello! I already finished the 2 arms, it was more work than I expected, I'm still not totally convinced of the result, maybe I'm going a bit too far, we'll see how it joins the body.
