Yes, absolutely. I've been trying to get caught up with requests and work on the plumbing and do "Honey Do's" and work on some styrene and resin models, but I think I'm going to give this a shot next month, at least I'll get it printed. I've got an Aero Carriage to get some more work done on, the Nuka Cola Clock to do, the NBSG Shuttle and a few other things, but I'll get to it as soon as I can, I've also got the Stormtrooper to finish and....
    so on and on... LOL!:thumb:

    Wauw...this is a x wing.
i found many x wings on the net...but this one looks GREAT.

Every day i see more more papercraft...one greater than the other..
This is the BEST papercraft x-wing i have seen so far!!

i will download it to my paper-treasure-stick for the time i have a little spare time .

how thick is the recomended paper?..
or do i have to reinforce the fuselage/wings?

And what will be the size when printed on a4/letter?
    whoops found it. 27.5 cm

    Thanks to the maker!

I recommend 100-120gsm paper (~0.15mm thick). The parts that need to be thicker have the recommended thickness marked next to their part number (mostly).

I also think this is the quintessential X-Wing, in any medium. :)

    Today everything printed..
    on A1
now the x wing should become 70cm long :)
just a little bigger then a studioscale x wing.
only the paper is just 80gsm

so i need the make it with a lot reinforcement parts
But when it would become the same as the x wing on the pictures (site)
    i. very VERY happy.

But how do you reinforce the wings so that they stay up?

Well, that will be bigger by almost 1/3 compared to studio scale, that's scary :D You'll have to do some serious reinforcing & it's probably a good idea to seal the paper with some sort of lacquer to prevent warping by moisture before you even start working with it.
The wings are cross-connected, if you put some weights in the lower ones, the wings will stay opened wide. They also have an internal frame, so they shouldn't warp.

It's beautiful. Reminds me of why I fell in love with this ship sooooo long ago. I was 7.

    I have a little question...
How do you get that colored nose?
The one i printed was grey?

    I have a little OT.
If this is Red 2 X-wing(Wedge Antilles), so why the pilot wears Luke´s helmet(maybe)?
    Wedge´s helmet looks that:

Because : Wedge´s x-wing is right now piloted by Luke. Sometimes life brings you some unforseen situation - My own helmet was kaput last week because the conector was broken - maybe Wedge has the same problem :p I send greetings to the highlands (Vysočina)

dnalor: Yes, that is correct - I have red 2 and the one released on the web is red4. Personal gift from Imcold. The whole texture is different - not only the stripes :)

    There are more!?...
Any chance that Red2 will be released for the "normal people"?..

I tried to start building my Red4 xwing..but didn't find a correct dome for r2 and my cardboard wasn''t big enough for the nose-tip.

I have to check at my work for bigger cardboard.

maybe i can do the falcon at my work and the xwing at home :)
