Also known as the BREN Gun Carriage, this little tank was no toy and was quite an impressive vehicle. It was really fast. I built the Tamiya version of this, and it didn't look this good. The real ones used a Ford V-8, and could get up to 30 m.p.h.!! By 1960, 116,000 of these were built, this is the most produced armored vehicle in history! They had an ingenious steering mechanism by which the front wheels could deflect the tracks and this warping made the tank turn nice and smooth, for sharp turns, brakes on each side could be individually operated. I love these things. I was going to design one, I wanted one so bad, but after seeing this one, I decided I would try and get that. Being in the U.S., no freaking way. Truth be told, I'd build a scan of this if I found one.. I hate that they don't sell these here and I can't afford to pay crazy shipping for a magazine that could come in mangled. You are very fortunate, and you have built the finest model I have ever seen of this in any medium. It is perfect!!!
