Very Nice!!!Indeed!!... but it is weird, in a wonderful kind of way ..but I just finished off a render of this just 2 -3 weeks back thinking it would make a decent subject! and well here it is.. hummm ... lets see... I am working on a Lucre Class Destroyer and a Corvus Raider..as well as ...a Bunker Buster ...
The latest parts feature many red areas. And you know what this means! UHU is building some - holes..!
The best way to build a hole is to cut the part out precisely, leaving as little "flash" as possible. The perfect hole has no flash at all, not even the tiniest outline, meaning it is completely floating weightlessly in the air. However, assembling such a hole has proven somewhat difficult because there is noting left you could apply glue and pressure to. I guess this is the reason why UHU simply discarded the holes in the next picture - and continues with the remaining frame pieces instead.
This model reminds me of UHU's Colonial Viper Mk. II. The amount of detail is breath-taking. I think it would be no problem to display the Speeder with various flaps open and closed, with full or partial hood, in a workshop diorama, in flight or anything else. The possibilities are endless!!!
I can see that this is going to be an AMAZING MODEL! The details that he is putting into this is TOP NOTCH! The interesting thing is, there is still room for greebling, if you wish.
I was just about to give up and throw in the number 11 blade... but..1/12th.. I can handle that! this in 1/25th ... NO! Not at my age!! That vent unit is masterly done! LOOKS GREAT!
