Twenty Year Old Buys Amtrak Locomotive

No, this is no Aprils Fools.

I just found about this fellow who is 20 years old and went out and bought his own F40PH locomotive.

I think that this is very cool and exciting. I am glad to see that someone has the initiative and resources to do something like this. The F40PH may not have been the best locomotive ever but it does have a place in railroad history and

Personally, I'd have to have an F7 in Great Northern Big Sky Blue. Or an F45 in the same scheme...
OTOH, I'd like an NP F7 in the 2-tone Lowey greens, A-la North Coast Limited...
Or SP&S 700...
