Hi, Tyson. Once about fifty of the little bugger's went by the house in an afternoon. kept running out to look when I heard one coming. Finally parked myself in a lawn chair at the end of the drive to watch them all.
Sorta wish I had gotten one of those to fix up instead of the caboose. Might be done with it by now.

A few years back a friend of mine found an ACL speeder rusting away in the woods. A local shortline had bought the line from CSX and he talked them into giving it to him. He spent several hundred hours and umpteen $$$$$$ on it.

To make the story short....you had to crank the thing with a hand crank like a Model T...... The first time he tried it the engine backfired and the crank handle broke his right arm in two places

Which is why all the ones I've seen have been converted to electric starters.
