I just learned about this ... It seems that the 0-6-0 steam train that was once based in St. Thomas, Ont. will now operate between Waterloo and St. Jacobs! This is pretty exciting news as Waterloo isn't that far from Toronto and we have friends in the K-W area.

I'd be curious if anyone has heard anything further about this or might have plans to ride this train. My family and I rode on it about 4 years ago, when it operated from St. Thomas.

It's also going to be making scheduled trips during Oktoberfest, starting on Sept 30 until mid-October! They also have a small diesel which will run as well. Rob
