Pen & Pencil?!!!
Weren't they used about the time of quills and rocks?
Yes, they were. I remember back in the day, carving "the code" into rock with Hammurabi.

I suspect this project has gone the way of many we all have started and still have on the shelf meaning to get back to. The idea is great, though. I've often thought it would cool to do a movie/TV soundstage set or two. ST TOS is a great subject. I think if I were going to do so I would start with the excellent Ron Caudillo TOS bridge, modify it, and work from other sources for the rest. I know there's at least one Sketchup model portraying the TNG corridors, but I've not run across one of the TOS sets yet.
BTW, here's a great site featuring set layout plans of of most of the Star Trek series:

Hi all,
Thanks Hollywood for the consideration!
I'd look into this project but am pretty swamped (as are MOST of us) with other projects, etc. I guess the only way I can help would be to send you the AutCAD and/or CorelDraw files I made when I designed the bridge. I do not mind sending my work if it benefits the hobby, the project is available for free download, and somewhere on the model, I am given credit for providing the bridge design.
Best Regards,
