Shamus will be PROAD!!!

Hello Everyone:

Shamus will be very proad of me. This past year I was talking about using minature LED's and lamps. Shamus always said, "try fibre optics!"

I did! Right now I am experimenting with them. Last year for the Christmas Train, I used regular Christmas lights under the "snow". well, I actually melted a piece of Power Loc Track! So this year I want to use LEDs and fibre optics.

Here's what I did:
1.Sanded off the top of the LED.
2.Drilled a hole
3.Inserted the fibre and glued it.


Works great!

Andy, you will be very pleased with the results, I shall be proud of you. Why not try this on one of your photo's as well. This is N-scale by the way not my H0, taken a few years ago when I was into N-scale.

I know that N-scale is small. did you do the star light to an entire layout? Or is it just a small scene? If you did do that to an entire layout. That is alot of man hours!!!
