Just got my new " Sawmill Modeling" book in the mail a couple of days ago and it is excellant !! It is a 100 page soft cover book full of plans and measurements on sawmill equipment and on an actual sawmill. It is mainly about saw mills that were in the Northern California and Nevada USA area from 1850 to 1960 era. Has a fair number of b & w pictures of mills and equipment as well as lots of text that go into the history, about sawmills, head saws & bringing up the logs, cutting logs and machinery used. This is going to be a valuable referance to any of us that are into logging and going to be building sawmills. The book is by Paradise Publishers, 433 Town Center, Suite 688, Corte Madera, California 94925, cost $19.75 (US funds), I came across a small add in MR and got the name of a hobby shop from the publishers e-mail site, the site that I ordered mine from was Excellant book worth getting, Ron..
