Question about Oregon & Northwestern RR

I have been trying to determine the color of this (or any other ONW) boxcar's roof. Many of these boxcars were later restenciled for the BN. Does anyone have actual knowledge of the roof's color or a photo of the roof which will indicate the correct color. Thanks.

I don't have any photos, but if you don't get an answer, my best guess would be that the roof would be, somewhat rusted galvanized steel.

In the absence of knowing any different this sounds good to me.

However, could the roof have been painted "white" for the heat reflective qualities?
