I recently purchased an older (I was told mid to late 70s vintage) Trix loco. It ran fine until I decided to put MT couplers on it. This particular model has a circuit board under the fuel tank and has pickups coming off of the wheels (coupler aswembly).
After taking it apart and installing the couplers I have put it back together and for the life of me cannot get it to run. The motor still works (I have tested it) but I'm having trouble with polarity and getting power to and from the motor. This was a tremodous engine and it fits well into my setup-I would hate to lose it because I can't figure out how the motor gets its power.
Does anyone have any experience with this or know of anyone with knowledge or is there a website or????
