Here are some pics from my defiant build. Excellent instructions make this really fun to build :thumb:
I used Bones and Bill Perry's retextures versions of Ninjatoe's great design!

My learning at this model was never to understimate the warp nacelles.
I totally deformed them ...ouch...wall1when you know that you did the same mistake twice, that's called experience:mrgreen:

    In my case, it's called aging! sign1 sign1 sign1

Good job so far, keep it up!

:roll1:aging ... I knew it had to with something like that.

And I was wondering why these things are called "warp"-ed engines:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

    Better "warp"-ed than "wrinkled"! sign1

This gives a wholly new dimension to this model; maybe it's a refit?

Joking aside. I'm certain that you will solve that problem. I'd love to see the finished ship. Good luck with it! :thumb:

wow, this looks like a excellent model:thumb::thumb::thumb:
Frankly speaking I was thinking about placing my old AMT Defiant in the background, but it would pale in comparison to your replica:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:
However the paperversion does not look too bad in comparison;-)

I agree with Zathros that raising the details would greatly improve the model.
But you did a very good job as well!

A fine ship! I too have the plans for it and I always wanted to see this one before tackling it. :thumb::cool::wave:
