Thanks, Val and Bob. I just dusted my diorama with a light coating of baking soda then clipped the top of a dimestore pine and drug it thru the "snow". At 29 degrees and cloudy with sleet, the lighting outside was perfect. While we would get two or three good snowfalls a year where I grew up, my favorites were the dustings that just kind of softened the landscape, especially around Christmas.

Jeeze Chris, how did you get such a clear picture shaking and jittering from the cold, wonder your batteries didn't freeze and your camera didn't freeze and bust. God that looks COLD. Fred
