I am starting a new small lima bean shaped layout that folds up into a breif case. I wanted to build a layout for my three little cousins. I wanted to at least bring it to them, they live in kansas. The idea came from an old thomas train thing i once had that folded up. It will be a prarie type layout because i wanted something easy and little kid safer. I think I am going to get some fake fur for the prarie grass. I will also see if I can get some Indians, and settlers with covered wagons. Here is a sketchup model. As you can see the two sides fold in and up to rest on top of the middle section. I will get some latches to secure it. I just realised I messed up on the model, the groves that allow the side sections to sit flush when folded up should beflush with the top of the apron piece not the bottom
