Not quite sure what you mean exactly - since Nscale is 1:160 or 1" equals 160" - from many sources, you can find the exact length of an engine or car and do the math. For example: a 50' (scale feet) stock car would be 3.75". The best source would probably be the National Model Railroad Association's website - National Model Railroad Association they have a "Standards" page that gives various dimensions that track work and how the engines/cars should be set up. If you need to know a specific car's dimensions, you'll probably need to check out the various manufacturer's websites (like Atlas Model Railroad Co. or KATO USA : Precision Railroad Models to find their production dimensions of the model they're making and start looking at the numerous personal or organizational websites that have locomotive and car information from specific railroads. Lastly, check out the engine/car manufacturer's websites too...you can get a lot of good info directly from the manufacturer. Check out GE Transportation for some great engine info. Hope this helps.
