My newly reconfigured Christmas layout is up and running. It features a three loop design. The inside is vintage Marklin tinplate with a passing track and siding and a slight grade to a newer Marklin bridge. The outer two are C100 flex track on cork roadbed with a double crossover feature. The inner radius is 18" and the outer is 20 1/4" with easements into the turn on the inner. Power is from a vintage Marklin 6153 30va 110v compatible transformer and an MRC Dual Loco Pack. Buildings are mostly homebuilt paper, vintage brass or Plasticville, vehicles are vintage Tootsie Toy. There are fiber optic and LED trees and a scrolling marquee billboard.

My apologies to those with are some videos>>>

It's a shame you don't have a track for your pretty HOn30 stuff. The Marklin stuff looks cool.

yeah we got out tree today, but i'm going to hold off on building my tree trains until other decorations are on, because people always complain about the EZ-track being in the way.

Appreciate the kind words, I've pondered adding a loop of HOn30 around the base in the past but those models just aren't up to the rigors of Christmas running. Would you believe that Marklin was headed for the dumpster if I didn't take it?

WOW that is a lot of work.

I am trying to dumb it down, it is exhausting me.
