Well, the phone rang the other night, and it was our friend Andrew (MasonJar). He was in town for some biz stuff and didn't have much time to spare. We agreed to meet after dinner the next day. With not much more than a couple of hours, I arranged to go to the best LHS. A place called VIP Trains run by Larry, who has the shop in his basement. Larry also has quite a large HO layout as well as an N scale layout under the HO bench work.
So we had a good chat with Larry, viewed his layout and he tried to run his trains, but was foiled by track problems. Here are some pix.
1- Andrew likes trains, can you tell?
2- Andrew noticed these cool MOW equipment, so I got a pic. He is looking at the engine house.
3- The front and side of the engine house. How about those shop machines and the scrap lying around.
4- Speaking of scrap piles, this is the other side of the engine house.
5- This is the end pf the peninsula where the yard full of rolling stock sits and waits to move out. The engine house is at the top of this pic.
