hey guys! I am looking around to see if anyone might be interested in going to an occasional IPMS meeting here in Madison. The Mad City Modelers meet every month I just missed the annual contest

After going through all the hassles of getting a sponsor for the best paper model category (FG), of course! You know, a certain other PM site could sponsor an award as well...

What hassles did you go through? I was never asked and am always willing to provide prizes - even in competitions that promote my competition

Do you guys get many (ok - any) paper entries? I would like to sponsor a Material - Paper, Best in Show trophy if you get any entries.... now if you only get one or two....

If there are very few entries I would like to sponsor Diorama, Best in Show.

Wish I knew further in advance I would have offered free models to contestant entries. Kinda short notice now for that

Can still offer; email at the site. We had a few entries in the past shows (and I had the most complex...); but my pla$tic compatriots are asking me to really push to get other paper modelers to come and show their talents.
