i think i will have to paper mache the inside to make it stiff and not floppy.

Touch up some of those edges with a sharpie. Makes a huge different. Looks great! :)
 
the instructions say to do this part at the end .But I feel it would be easier to do now with the front open.

This car is being built to about 1/3rd scale, isn't it? At a length of five feet , it should have it's own display room. This model will be magnificent when it's finished.
 
other fender is done need to think of suporting the inside about now.
