Is this Box Car accurate?

Hi All,

I got this AA at a swap meet for 5 bucks. It is an Athearn, but to my supprise it had seperately applied ladders and grab irons. It looks to be of a newer era.

Anyway, I weathered it and was wondering if it looked "right"?

Looks good to me, Kyle. :thumb: I'm a big fan of wire grabirons anyway.:smile: Not to nitpick, but you are missing a drop step on the near corner of the car's "A" end: I almost missed it 'cause the rest of the car looks so good.

Anyone know the story behind the large logo? I get the stylized AA but is there some significance to the dark pattern in the white circle? Just curious.

Good lookin car Kyle. I think those kind of Athearn cars go for around 15 bucks, you got a good deal.
