What do you use for inspiration....... I have very little imagination when it comes to north American buildings and structures, so I surf the Internet railway and logging sites and print off pictures of any stuctures I like, I then post them on the wall above my "messy" workbench and attempt to build them, so far so good,

Back issues of model railroad mags and mags of the real thing, Saturday newspaper sometimes and of course posts here like Spitfire's post in the Real Thing Canada.

I do the model railroad magazines also, along with the Walthers catalog, THS mailers. I also like the photo tours of other layouts such as the George Sellios Franklin and South Manchester, and photos that our own Gaugers have on their sites. Shamus's photos and cd are good "idea makers' also.
The work done by folks on The Gauge keeps me busy...I've done more in the last three months since I've signed on than the two years previous, no kidding.
