Paper is the higher evolution of wood
Just like plastic is the "evolved" form of a polypeptide chain. That's said, there's nothing wrong with working the "old form"
. I think it's more an art form than a hobby to scratch build from wood, as my old woodwork teacher (a cranky Irishman who was a little fond of the whisky..) would say, "Be careful when you cut, you can't just stick it back on!"
At least with paper if we make a blaps we can just print new parts!
