hello, I last posted here in 2009 (!) to answer a question about the famous cardboard church made by Joseph Merrick, the Elephant Man. There was a question about what church it might be, and some of you expressed an interest in constructing your own version of it. I posted this info in the subcategory of models for sale also.
Thanks to an expert card modeler, Thomas Clay of cathedralquest.com, I've confirmed that Joseph Merrick's cardboard model is indeed of Mainz Cathedral, as someone else here has mentioned.
