Hello, another newbie

Hi,

My name is Daniel and I come from the UK. I got my 00 gauge set when I was about 7 years old and I have added on from there. last year I made my first semi permanent layout on 3x pieces of 4" by 2" mdf which fit together to make a 6" by 4" rectange in whihc my layout is on.

My layout is basically 2 loops with 1 siding and extra loop on the outer ring and freight yard on the inner ring.

the only problem is that the connections in some areas aint that great and trains keep derailing. I think I will have to gut the trhing and re do the lot but I will definatelly change the layout.

Hi,

yeh I have had a quick look around. I will post some pics of the current layout hopefully today. I seem to have phases of trains then I go to my other 2 hobbies but it always comes back again.

I probably wont do any changes until i get the layout permanantly set up and then i may completely re do the system.
