Hello, just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Ty aka-shelbys_dad. I have been in the hobby off & on since my father was an engineer for Conrail back in the 70's and had a layout of the Enola Yard in our basement.
I've done 2 N scale layouts while in College and now that I have children of my own (girl-12 & son-10) I feel the need to share my love of trains with them. Mostly my son, he's a train NUT.
Anyway enough rambling, (I do that a lot!). I'm glad I found this site and hope my screen finds it's way here frequently enough to learn & share.
