Nice shots Chris. The only time I get to see freights or "snow" is on this computer or on TV. We seldom get snow here and am off the beaten track as far as trains go. We do have a local that comes out of ?? and delivers cars in Woodland and then the Yolo engine spots them.

I LIKE it! I go by a similar scene in St. Paul on the way to Red Wing, MN. I usually ask my wife to drive when we head down that way so I can rubber neck the hump yard.

Great shots. I love CP stuff - thinking about putting a couple of SD90Macs on the HO track just to have them pass through. Do you have any pics of them?

Hi Rusted I have not got the SD90Mac, but may be Tin Goat has.
Will see what we can do.

Rusted: you may be closer to the SD90MACs than we are -- they're based in Winnipeg and I think they run across the prairies.

Trains all around me

Hi Robin,
I am fortunate to work right next to the C P yards
And live between th CP north of me and the C N south of me Both busy lines.
So at home my dog and I have a mutal under standing he IS gona walk the line with me

And If I have a 2 hr breake at work I go a hunting around the C P yards.

Its COOOOOOOOl as well as cold.
