Detailed Thunder Fighter Project

Those engine exhausts are GORGEOUS! What color marker are you using to clean up the edges?

Those oval-shaped details could not have been easy to cut out!

Actually, I use watercolour paints and mix my own colours to match (as closely as possible) to the colours I need and then I use a "dry brush" technique to paint the edges.

As for the oval cut-outs, you will need a very sharp knife with a very fine point (and take your time with it).

For those of you who are wondering about the blades being close to the end of the exhaust the way I have made them. I am going for a screen accurate model with this build. Here is a photo showing the exhausts.

Absolutely fantastic! This is the best TF you have ever built! Congratulations! :)

Thank you!
So when are you going to finish your 1:18 scale version of the TF? ;)
I am looking forward to seeing it!
I finished the first one, The second, the "Stealth" version with the astrodroid socket is in the build pile. The excuse, er issue is the kinko paper, which is gloss and doesn't take glue well. I shall reprint with my steller Epson wide format and resume this build hopefully sometime after Halloween.
