I was reading some messages that suggested using Micro-Trains couplers to convert from Rapido. I looked at the MT site and found that they have a number of different versions of their coupler. I have a couple of Life-Like cars and several Atlas cars with Rapido couplers that I want to convert. Any suggestions as to which version of MT coupler to use?

Most cars will take the basic coupler screwed to the floor. Locos and some special cars will take the conversion kits that MT lists.
If you want to keep truck-mounted couplers, you can replace the whole unit with MT trucks or just replace the coupler as I think MT makes drop-in replacements.

Generally speaking, truck mounted couplers are more forgiving on the sharper curves that many of us have, while body mounted is much closer to the prototype; but it's really a matter of personal preference.
