The things you put up with commuting to and from the office!
Must be "The Last Train to Clarksville".
I think their going for a new world record, how many people can you stuff on a train!!!
Everyone remotly involved in constructing the new engine & cars pose on the equipment to get their picture taken.
The mailman that delievers the mail to the manufacturer can be seen third from the left in the blue shirt..
The photographer needed to stage the shot on a bridge in order to fit everyone into the shot..
Must have been a really sick train to require the laying on of that many hands!!!
I've heard of standing room only... But
that is ridiculous!
Oh ya! That's AMTRAK's push for more service. It's buy a ticket full price and ALL your friends ride free.
Ken -- all i can say is:
Can You See Me??
I'm in this picture! Look carefully. I'm on the top of the ninth car...wearing a white shirt and waving.
I'm standing right beside Waldo.
I SEE YA!!! See me waving back?????!!!!
Say hello to Waldo for me!!! ROFL
That looks to me like the Amtraks board of drectors John
What do you mean standing room only?? I paid for first class!!!!
Where's the coffee service???
This is the LAST train to Clarksville!!
You know, I used to get really annoyed with some of those old Malcom Furlow photos... the ones where he would pose his "little people" in the most unlikely and impossible places. Like on top of bridge abutments, or sitting on a bridge girder with their feet dangling out over the water. And now this!!! It just goes to show that there really is a prototype for everything.
Now if we all sway together maybe we can get it moving!! or flip it off the bridge!!
-- No "flippin' off" allowed on these here boards!! ROFL!!!
