I recently joined a commuter forum started by the owner of IHP Models, a company specializing in commuter cars. I noted they are producing HO versions of the Bombardier bi-level commuter cars first operated on GO Transit in Toronto and now widely used across the U.S. on Metrolink, Sounder and Tri-Rail among others. I asked if he'd consider producing ready-to-run N-scale versions and here's the response:
"I am planning to offer the HO models R-T-R with McHenry/Bachmann knuckle-type couplers installed. I wasn't going to do them in N scale, but that's the second request in two days about doing them in N scale. If there is more interest, I would seriously reconsider. "
