Betty /Alien Resurrection/skoda/ 1:108

A clean beginning, to a subject matter near, and dear to my heart. I'm curious: What scale is this behemoth? Looks to be about 1/35 scale? I'm thinking that the first photos, are of the original movie model....? With toolboxes in the background? Painting and weathering are phenomenally well done, especially the grease streaking effect. This ship looks big enough to have an interior.... Yeah, I know. That complicates everything...but. BIIIG windows let you see pilot/copilot/spacecraft commnander's seating...and assorted cockpit control levers and such. Be a shame to waste that opportunity. This build has real "Best of show" potential. Anyone who saw the movie, can see that it's accurate, shapewise and panelwise. NICELY DONE. I look forward to following this build, with much interest. (I'll be honest...I'm JEALOUS!) *laughing* To get the geometric angles of the cockpit windscreen CORRECT....must have taken quite a bit of time. My modeling hat is off to you, sir!

Well, original model is in 1:144 scale, A4 paper size, with final lenght 37 cm, and wingspan 40 cm. But of course, Skoda printed it on A3 size, just like his great Sulaco and added lot of details, rised panels, plates, etc. And, yes, laser print looks fantastic! ;)

Skoda, I believe you can only design and build magnificent models. I write this because it is the trail of models you have left behind you. I now clear the stones and pebbles, so as not to hurt our knees......:inw::inw:

Every step of this build is like a line of a poem. What kind of paper are you using?
