Battlestar Galactica Power Sled (Chariot) in 1:50 scale

Time to make the tracks. I started with the shape former. Here is the parts for the shape former.


The shape former is assembled.


Here are the parts for the tracks and blacks.


Starting with the belts (the top two are the "outside" belts, the middle two are the "spacer" belts, the bottom two are the inside belts.).


Here is are the blades.


I have wrapped the two belts and started attaching the blades.






The blades are fully attached.




Here are the wheel guides.


Starting to attach the wheel guides.


All of the wheel guides are attached.

It is now time to "wrap track"!
Here is the first track wrapped around the wheels.






The second on is wrapped.




The track assembly is attach the the body!

Watched a few builds of tracked vehicles recently, I really want to do something with this kind of drive train...

Hopefully, fingers crossed there's an unusual build winging its way from Poland soon

Great and fun looking vehicle must re-watch BSG again soon

With the help of @Revell-Fan (rescaling the display box to 1:50 scale), I decided to make the display for the Power Sled.

Here are the parts for the internal display stand.


The support slab is assembled.




The display slab is attached to the base plate.


The Power Sled is on the display base to check fit.








Here are the parts for the main box.


This in the internal backdrop.


The backdrop and display base is inserted and the Power Sled is on the display base.
The box is finished.


As you can see, there are both bar codes and QR codes.
I would like to scan the bar codes and QR codes, to see what they are for!
