My first foray into Papercrafting (as we know it today and not the scratch builds I did as a kid) was a build of the AT-AT from The Empire Strikes Back. This was a very common download which I printed on my own ink-jet printer on card stock. I soon learned that I would need to visit a professional printer (such as Staples here in Canada) for my next papercraft build. I did add some trivial enhancements such as using actual rolled up paper tubes for the side cannons rather than the flat pieces cut out from the original template. I was quite impressed that the model features 13 points of articulation for poseability and possibly animation.
